Our recruitment process

How we run a technology search, from brief to joining.

The same process for every search, so you always know what happens next, what we need from you and how candidates are judged.

The process

What happens, step by step.

01

Calibrate

A working session on the role: outcomes, must-haves, the scorecard and the band. We tell you if the brief is unlikely to fill at the budget.

You get: a signed-off brief and scorecard

Two colleagues mapping a plan on a whiteboard
02

Map

We look at the market: where these people work, what they earn and what would make them move.

You get: a market read before any CVs

Analytics dashboard with charts on a monitor
03

Search and assess

Targeted outreach and structured screening against the scorecard, including motivation, notice period and pay expectations.

You get: candidates assessed against your bar

04

Shortlist

A short list of assessed profiles with our notes, not a forwarded pile of CVs.

You get: a shortlist you can act on

05

Close and follow up

Interview coordination, feedback, offer support and check-ins after joining.

You get: support through to joining

Evaluation and shortlisting

How we decide who reaches your shortlist.

A CV tells you where someone has been. Our screening is built to find out what they can do in your team and whether they would actually move.

Evidence over keywords

Each must-have on the scorecard is checked against something the candidate has done: a system they built, a team they led, a problem they solved. A matching keyword is not enough.

Motivation and practicalities

Why they would move, what would keep them where they are, notice period and pay expectations. These come out in screening, not after an offer.

Notes you can act on

Every shortlisted profile comes with our assessment against your scorecard, including the gaps, so interviews start from what still needs testing.

What we need from you

A hiring manager available for the calibration session, and feedback on shortlisted profiles within an agreed time.

How you hear from us

A regular update on every open role every week, plus a call whenever something changes.
